Thank you for contacting our clinic about the newest tinnitus treatment device, the
NEUROMOD LENIRE!
We are so happy to report excellent results since May to 2023, after a training trip to
Ireland! Our clinic has fit close to 250 units in 3 years, and we are finding over 75% of
our patients are making significant progress during the 6-12 month program. We are
delighted to report that six patients have found their tinnitus is no longer present.
Our clinic has been devoted to the two conditions of tinnitus and hyperacusis for 30
years.
THINGS TO KNOW:
1) The first step is a virtual or in person interview. We will assess your
candidacy for the Lenire unit. This requires 30-45 minutes and an audio/case
history sent to the clinic in advance. We can provide you with an audiological
assessment if needed.
2) The fitting, if ordered, requires 1 hour in the clinic. The fee must be paid in
advance, $3850.
3) Insurance coverage: currently few companies will cover any payment for the
Lenire. Worker Comp cases, motor vehicle accidents, or use of your private
Health Savings Account funds could cover the device.
Good News: Our clinic is finding very good results with this new treatment. After nearly
3 years, we have hundreds using the device for tinnitus and more than 75% are
demonstrating significant improvement. We provide regular follow ups via email and
phone, or in clinic visits, for at least 1 year.
What to do next? Complete the paperwork and return with a recent hearing test. Once
we receive it, and if you pass the initial qualifications, then we will schedule an interview
via phone or in person or zoom. This half hour appointment will ensure you have the
best chances of success.
